Expert in the field of tax advisory services, awarded the Honorary Badge of the Polish Bank Association. Originator and founder of the Arena Advisory group. He has extensive experience in tax, financial and legal advisory services for commercial banks, covering issues connected with the structuring of all banking products, tax settlements in banks, due diligence and reviews, training, tax planning and the calculation of current and deferred taxes.
He gained experience at, among others, Deloitte and Ernst & Young (now E&Y) where he was involved in tax advisory services mainly for financial institutions. He was also the chief tax inspector of a bank belonging to an American capital group. During his career, he created and managed the tax department at Polbank EFG (now part of the Raiffeisen group); he was responsible for all tax obligations. In 2011-2012 he was a partner at KPT Doradcy Podatkowi.
Michał was the Official Representative of the Polish Bank Association in the European Banking Federation VAT group during the Polish EU Presidency.
He graduated from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań with a degree in law and from the WSB University in Poznań with a degree in accounting and corporate finance.
